Whirlwind Week

It has been a very busy week.  Last night I finally had a few minutes to sit...and fell asleep on the couch!!!

I shopped for, wrapped and delivered presents to some of my friends and students at school (and received a few too!).   Thursday afternoon/evening I attended the staff Christmas Party held at a nearby restaurant.  It was nice to visit with some of the people I don't get a chance to see during the week at school.   We had a little classroom celebration with some treats and games on Friday.  The kids are very excited about the upcoming holidays and break.

I cleaned a bit, did some laundry, decorated our Christmas Tree,  picked up my sewing/embroidery machine from the repair shop (it feels sooo good to have it home and working again).  All of the signature ribbons for the next ribbon quilt are done and were given to me on Friday so I was able to begin  the applique process on that quilt.

I'm happy to have a little more time in the next couple of the weeks so I can get more sewing and quilting done.  I already feel more relaxed!!!

Happy Quilting,
Laurel
