Trip Around the World ( or many)
Oh my goodness. I am soooooooo excited. Many people are willing to help with my project and fabric is on its way to me from 13 countries so far. As the pieces arrive I will share pictures with you and hopefully a story or two!! I am touched by the willingness of so many people to take time out of their busy schedules to shop for, wrap and mail (post) these fabrics to me. Thank you all.
I am not sure what pattern I will use but am leaning toward a Trip Around the World or a variation of Many Trips. I'm thinking this would be appropriate since the fabric will be traveling to get to me from around the world!
While waiting ( and I want you to know waiting is not always easy for me ) I have a few other things to work on. I need to make a Cowboy Quilt for my grandson. His room is painted and ready for the final touches including wall stickers, his mom's wooden rocking horse and a new quilt. He is five years old and loves to help in my studio. I absolutely love spending time with him and truly enjoy working on projects with him. He's my Quilter in Training!!!
There are two new babies coming and they each need a quilt to welcome them and of course my longarm quilting business means a line-up of quilts to be quilted. I am fortunate to be able to do what I love!!!
Happy Quilting
