Stacked Jigsaw Puzzle
I have always loved to do jigsaw puzzles. I don't always have time to work on them but have loved to do them as far back as I can remember. I especially like the unusual puzzles, a pile of jelly beans, a bunch of spools of thread surrounding a scissors, scoops of ice-cream etc.
Imagine my delight when I saw this jigsaw puzzle in the Connecting Threads catalog. Of course I ordered one and smiled as I opened the box the mailman brought to my door. This is a 1000 piece puzzle called Stacked by Rebecca Barker. The entire puzzle is a stack of quilts!!! Beautiful, wonderful, some pieced, some appliqued, folded and stacked quilts!!! This 1000 piece gem is 20" x 27" and is made completely of recycled board and soy-based inks.
I am very anxious to open the box and begin assembling the pieces but I am trying to use my will-power and wait. My sister is a quilter and likes to do jigsaw puzzles too so I will try to wait until her next visit. It will be fun to visit and work on this puzzle together.
Happy Quilting,
Laurel
