Spring Cleaning
Happy Spring! Spring officially begins at one something Saturday but Sunday is the first full day of spring and we are supposed to be getting snow here on Sunday!!! Oh well, I'm just glad winter is finally over.
We had a beautiful day today. My tulips and daffodils are up four to six inches and the grass is beginning to turn green. I opened the windows and aired the house out, made a pot of coffee and cleaned my studio. After all, Spring has Sprung so I thought I'd begin my spring cleaning by tidying up and reorganizing a few things! I will be able to go down in the morning to a neat and clean workspace ---that's always nice.
A clean studio, and organized tools also makes me more productive. Along with cleaning and organizing, I also changed the needles in my machines and the blades in my rotary cutters. I tend to let this go too long but am always amazed at the difference sharp tools make.
I think I'll try to get some sleep so I can get an early start in the morning.
Happy Quilting,
Laurel
