I've known for a long time that sewing/quilting is theraputic. Especially if I've had a bad day, spendig time in my studio makes me feel better. I solve alot of problems and make alot of decisions while quilting.
Since I had a major surgery, I am learning how quilting helps recovery from a medical condition. I began by reading quilting magazines and books. I also worked on some of my quilt coloring books and fabric panels. Now I am piecing a quilt top. I am working much slower than I used to but it feels so good to be sewing again. Every day I feel a little better and every day I am able to sew a little longer.
I am looking forward to being back into the full swing of things and am anxious to be able to use my long arm machine again in the near future. One step at a time!!!
