Roses Are Red
This summer has been especially busy. We have been able to spend time with family, were invited to a couple of wedding showers and weddings, attended a few baby showers, completed a huge summer project for school and lots of wonderful quilting fun.
The start of school is just around the corner. I still have some unfinished items on my Summer To Do List and now I have added a new project!
These beautiful appliqued roses have been quilted and returned to their owner so I will have to make my own. This beautiful quilt is an awesome way to bring some summer flowers inside for the Fall and Winter months to come.
Each of the beautiful roses in this quilt is a different fabric. The sashings are made from a lavender and gold fabric. The quilting in each rose block is done with black thread while the sashings and border were quilted with lavender thread. The rose vines in lavender on the black border caused a stunning affect.
Thank you Delores for letting me share your beautiful quilt'
