Resolutions

It's that time of year. Time to make your list of resolutions for the new year. There are only a few days left to finish. Do you feel the pressure??? Don't let the pressure get to you. Instead, make a "doable" list and include a few fun, relaxing, enjoyable things as well. After all, if something is on your list of New Year's Resolutions you really do need to make every attempt to do it! Right?

Mine will look something like this: (1) Put new mulch in all of the flower beds. (2) Shop for fabric for new quilt and bedroom curtains. (3) Loose 25+ pounds. (4) Cut out and piece new quilt top. (5) Start new exercise routine. (6) Have monthly sewing day with quilting friends.
(7) Clean and paint garage and basement............You get the idea. I am hoping that the even numbered items will help be an incentive to achieve the odd numbered items as well!!!

Try sticking a copy of the list on June and December of your 2009 calendar. It will be fun to check how much you've accomplished at the half-way mark and again at the end of the year.

Good luck.

Happy Quilting,
Laurel
