Paper Quilt

I had an appointment with my Doctor yesterday and took a picture of this beautiful quilt hanging near her office.  I apologize for the glare.  This is a framed piece and is under glass.

This quilt is named  "The Four Seasons" and was created by Bonnie Ward Klehr.  Bonnie used a combination of pieces collected from women's hand written journals and her own collection of papers including paper she made herself.  This piece was sewn together just as fabric pieces would be but is strictly for display because it is paper.

Everytime I visit my doctor I pause by this quilt and feel a tiny bit of comfort.  I smile as if this quilt is hung there just for me!!!
