Panels

Sometimes I feel like using a panel to make a quilt is cheating but I found these adorable panels and couldn't resist them!

My three-year-old granddaughter loves Frozen and wanted a quilt for her new bed. I found several awesome Frozen fabrics but couldn't help falling in love with the life-sized panel of the sisters. I used some of the complimentary fabrics to add borders and voila!!! A quick, beautiful quilt was created, and an adorable little girl is very happy!!

My grandson, her little brother, loves animals and this ever-so-cute farm panel called to me at the quilt shop!! The colors are vibrant and the animals all look very happy. You can't help but to smile when you see this barn-yard scene.  Our little guy loves it!

Both of these quilts are quilted with all over meandering since they are both loved for young children and will be washed often. I wrapped the backing around to bind the quilts.

I guess panels are not cheating after all! I love the large pictures. These two quilts worked up very quickly and easily. They look great and make my grandchildren happy. It's a win, win!!

Nothing makes me happier than when the quilts I make are loved and used.
