Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my birthday.  It was a wonderful day --- my students were on their best behavior ~ I recieved many well wishes from students, co-workers, friends and family, including a couple of singing messages  ~ a few cards and gifts came my way ~ our son and his wife took my husband and I to House of Kobe for dinner (it's one of those places where the chef cooks your food right there in front of you!).  Our chef was very entertaining and the food was fantastic.  We all had a great time.

It seemed as though my birthday continued today!  My husband took me out for a late breakfast then we went to a couple of home improvement stores to pick up a few things.  When we got home, he took care of some of the things on the "Honey Do" list including working on my old sewing cabinet that needed some attention and new casters.

I quilted!!!  ( OK, I did some laundry and dishes too....but mostly I quilted.)

My muscles ache a little more, I move a tad slower than I used to and I have a few more wrinkles, but other than that, I guess I don't mind being another year older!

Happy Quilting,
Laurel
