Fabric Scraps

It's that time of year again.  The beginning of the school year brings very busy days of classroom preparations, teacher institute days, meeting my new class and fabric scraps!!!  Yes, fabric scraps.

We're back to school this week and while saying hello to everyone and being greated by the friends I haven't seen in so long, I found out that I will again be getting bags of fabric scraps from my friend's friend who makes doll clothes.  I get very excited about scraps and when they are scraps from other sewers they are often fabrics that are different from my own fabrics.  These wonderful treasures add to the variety in my scrap quilts.

What a nice way to begin the new school year.
