End of Summer

My house seems so empty again.  My daughter and grandson went back to their own  house.  I love when they come to visit and boy do I miss them when they go home.   The Legos, Matchbox Cars and trains are put away.  The sheets are washed and put back on the beds so they're ready for the next visit.  Even the dog misses them!!!

It's hard to believe that the day after  tomorrow is August 1st already.  Where did the summer go?  Next week I'll be working registration for school.  The next week I'll have to work on my classroom.  I've been moved to a different room so I have to unpack and set up the entire room.  It is a lot of work but I am very happy to be in the new room so I will not complain about the extra work.

I am bound and determined to make a quilt project for myself before the summer is over.  My problem is that there are too many choices!  I find myself playing with my fabrics and reading through my books and magazines,  however, this is an activity I enjoy too!!!  A cup of coffee, a pile of books and a fabric stash is like heaven to me.  I think I'll be up for a while longer.....planning.

Happy Quilting,
Laurel
