I was very happy to open the package that came today. This wonderful box contained some books which complete an entire collection I've been working on for the past couple of years!!!
I received four of the Jennifer Chiaverini books fron the Elm Creek Quilts series and two of the books which contain patterns for the quilts featured in the books. Somehow I was missing these books from my collection and wanted it to be complete. I got The Quilter's Kitchen (this book also contains a bunch of recipes that I look forward to trying), A Quilter's Holiday, The Union Quilters, and The Wedding Quilt, to complete the list of the Elm Creek Quilts Novels. I understand another book will be available soon and I, of course, will order that one too. I love having the quilting books that go along with the novels so I also ordered Elm Creek Quilts, and Traditions from Elm Creek Quilts to complete the series.
If you have not yet read any of the books in this series, you should. I suggest you begin with the first book, The Quilter's Apprentice, and read them in order so you can follow the storyline. It's always nice to have a good book to curl up with on a cold winter night and I believe we have alot of those coming up very soon!
