Driving At Last
Finally, I am free to drive and start returning to some normal activities. I got in my car today and headed right for a Joann Fabrics store (I know...big surprise)!
My grandson is visiting this week and we needed to pick up some more of the flame fabric for the quilt we are going to make together. We keep running short of fabric because he decides on other uses for some of the pieces such as pajamas!!! While we were there, we found several projects to add to our cart to work on in the next few days including coloring T-Shirts and some new fabric markers.
After Joanns, we did some gerneral shopping to pick up a variety of items and, of course, a couple of toys!! We ate lunch out, then headed home.
When we got back to the house, I found a large box of fabric on the porch by the front door. It had been dropped off by my neighbor. I sorted through these treasures and called to thank her. Included in this assortment are a couple hundred 3½" cut squares which will be perfect for Four Patch squares for a scrappy quilt. This was a really nice treat to find at my door!
Happy Quilting,
Laurel
