Box of Fabric

A long-time friend phoned to let me know her foster sister passed away and that she left behind a box containing some fabric and some cut quilt pieces that I may be able to use.  She would rather the materials be used and loved rather than being lost in a landfill or the other alternatives.

I am grateful that she thought of me. I will surely put the fabric to good use and hope that the already cut pieces can be used to complete the project she intended for them.  Even though I didn't really know her sister, I would like to be able to finish her UFO (unfinished object) for her.

When my friend drops off the box of treasured fabrics and I peek inside, I know I will be inspired with a multitude of new project ideas and it will not go to waste!
