Happy New Year 2014

Happy New Year!

As much as I hate how time seems to be flying by lately, I love the beginning of a new year.  I love the feeling of a fresh clean page and new beginnings.  I enjoy making New Year`s Resolutions and setting new goals, even though some of them unfortunately are not completely achieved!

This year I hope to loose a few pounds and exercise more consistently.  I also want  to be better with answering phone messages in a more timely fashion and/or not get busy and forget to return calls at all. I will try to complete more charity quilts, more of my own projects and stay on task completing quilts for others. I will plan more sewing days with friends and keep my studio neat and tidy even while working (OK, that one might be stretching it a little).  And, of course, blogging more frequently!  Additionally, I want to find a neat, different, idea for gifts for Christmas 2014. I would appreciate you sharing if your have such an idea.

I am already starting on my list.  Tomorrow I have a sewing day planned with a friend of mine.  We are getting together to work on piecing our first quilt tops of the year!  What could be more perfect on a cold, snowy day?

Happy Quilting,
Laurel
